Every platform in our lineup uses the word AI on its homepage. For a team switching platforms, the useful question is narrower: which specific jobs does the AI do, and would you lose any you rely on today? We read each vendor's AI pages on 7 September 2026.
What does each platform's AI do?
- Scrut: seven named agentic Teammates: Onboarding Analyst, Policy Architect, Evidence Collector, Internal Auditor, Risk Analyst (via MCP servers), Vendor Risk Analyst and Security Analyst. They work inside the Scrut Platform or an MCP-compatible client.

Which jobs matter most in a switch?
Three AI jobs touch a switch directly. Evidence collection and review decide how quickly the new platform fills with usable evidence. Policy drafting helps if you rewrite policies during the move. Remediation guidance helps when the new platform's tests flag gaps the old one did not. Questionnaire drafting matters to sales, whatever platform you use.
How should you read AI performance claims?
Several vendors attach numbers to their AI. Vanta says its questionnaire suggestions have a 95% acceptance rate. Scytale says its AI Evidence Reviewer reduces manual effort by up to 90%. We report these as vendor claims; we did not test them, and our AI assistance score counts named features, not claimed performance.
What does MCP support change?
Scrut says its Teammates work in an MCP-compatible client as well as its own platform. For a team that already works with AI assistants, that means compliance tasks can run where the team already works. It also means reviewing what access those assistants have to compliance data.
How do the scores compare?
On our AI assistance criterion (weight 10 of 100): Scrut 9, Scytale 8, Vanta 8, Sprinto 7, Secureframe 7, Drata 7, Comp AI 6, and Thoropass 4. The weight is deliberately modest: AI features change quickly, and the switching work is still done mostly by people.
What should you check in the demo?
- Ask the vendor to run each AI feature you care about on your own data, not a sample account.
- Ask who reviews AI output before it reaches an auditor or a customer.
- Ask which features are live and which are marked as coming soon.
What do you lose if a feature does not move?
List the AI features your team uses each week today and note what each one saves. If the new platform has no equivalent, the time comes back to your team. That is not a reason to stay on its own, but it belongs in the same comparison as integrations and price, measured in hours rather than labels.
