SOC 2 switch planner: rank the alternatives for your situation

Short answer

Tell the planner what you use now and what you need next. It re-weights our seven criteria, ranks the other platforms, flags published plan limits that your answers would hit, and shows a price only where a vendor publishes one (today, only Secureframe).

Main reason for looking
Headcount

Used only for plan-limit warnings. No vendor here publishes a per-seat price.

Frameworks you need in the next 12 months
Do you want the vendor to do readiness work with you?
Do you want the audit arranged through the platform?
Do you need pen testing from the same vendor?

Effective weight = slider value, then x3 for the criterion tied to your reason, x2 for Help if you want readiness work done with you, x2 for Audit if you want the audit arranged through the platform. Score = sum(score x effective weight) / sum(effective weights). Frameworks, headcount and pen testing do not change scores; they add the columns and warnings below.

Questions people ask

How does the switch planner rank alternatives?

It starts from our published weights, multiplies the weight of the criterion tied to your reason by 3, and doubles Help or Audit if you ask for those services. Each platform's score is the weighted average of its seven criterion scores.

Why does the planner not estimate my price?

Because seven of the eight platforms do not publish a price. Showing an estimate would mean inventing one. Secureframe's published starting price is shown as published.

What does a plan-limit warning mean?

Your answers would go past a limit the vendor publishes for a plan, such as Drata Foundation's 50 FTEs or a one-framework entry plan. It does not mean the vendor cannot serve you; it means a different plan, and a different quote, applies.

Can I share my results?

Yes. Your answers are saved in the page address, so copying the link shares the same results.
